The landing structure that turns directory and launch-day visitors into users: what goes above the fold, what counts as proof, and what to delete.

Date: 2026-07-23

An AI tool landing page converts when it answers three questions within seconds: what it does (one concrete sentence), why to believe you (visible proof), and what to do next (a single button). Everything else — carousels, three CTAs, vision paragraphs — subtracts.

## How do you write the one-liner?

Formula: verb + concrete outcome + for whom. "Turns documents into natural audio, for busy readers" works; "Revolutionizing productivity with AI" says nothing. If your sentence could describe ten other tools, it isn't your sentence yet.

## What counts as proof in 2026?

- A 30-second demo or video of the real flow — the strongest proof there is.
- Verifiable, sourced numbers: users, verified revenue, a real launch date.
- Badges from the directories where you're listed and verified — a signal of real presence, with a link back.
- Real product screenshots, not mockups.

## What to delete

Every element that doesn't answer one of the three questions competes with the ones that do. Cut the second CTA, the entry popup, and the "mission" section. A short page that loads fast beats a long one that impresses: visitors arriving from directories and launch feeds decide in seconds whether to stay or bounce.
